Elizabeth:
Why do you condemn the idea of ordering Meds from International 'Online Pharmacies'? Are you speaking from experience?
I have done it successfully many times. I know others who have as well. Yes, occasionally customs seizes the packages. But the good OP's package their products very discreetly. And let me tell you, 100 tablets of bup can be mailed in a small envelope, as the tabs are tiny. Remember they only contain 200 micrograms each.
Hopefully, the FDA will move on the Bup approval soon, and we can buy them in-country. Then, the only question that remains is price.
The internet has opened up access to pharmacies around the world. You would be surprised at what is available. If our own Doctors are unable or unwilling to prescribe medications that we need, we can take matters into our own hands! How many of us actually know more about specific medications than the Doctors? We try to educate them about possibilities, yet so often they ignore or obfuscate, and then refuse to prescribe. Or underprescribe, then leave you hanging.
Anyway, IMNSHO OP's are a tremendous resource, that should not be ignored out of fear or ignorance.
