Hi Melisa,
When I started Effexor, I had only two days that were really bad. I was nauseated, headachy, felt spacy, was a bit speedy and couldn't sleep. But I think it's worth it. You're only starting at 37.5 (I started at 75 mg) so you may not even feel anything adverse! Some people experience no side effects whatsoever.
