I have hypothyroidism & it's treated by Synthroid too. When it was initially treated, I never realised how much my appetite had gone down before. Everything tasted so good again. I shovelled my meals in, it was so tasty. My eating didn't keep on increasing as I grew used to the true flavour of foods but I did start eating more. I didn't gain wieght, on the contrary, I lost weight as I became more active again.

Vitamin/mineral supplements won't make a person hungry. Are you just very hungry or are you actually over-eating & gaining too much weight?
