> Anyone else treating their depression with Mirapex? I am trying it for the 2nd time. Last year when I tried it the nausea was too debilitating. I started a week ago and have'nt suffered much nausea so far. Today I brought my dose up to 3 mg. I do feel my depression symptoms have lessend allready. After another week or so and I have raised my dose to 4 or 5 mg, I probably will add adrafinil and then later 25 mg of amisulpride. Anyone tied these together? Keep well, look after yourselves!
I just got an rx for Amantadine, a dopamine agonist used to treat neuroleptic induced EPS. Its also good I read for augmenting regular antidepressants in AD poopout. Amantadine is similar to Mirapex. One thing I dont understand is you mention you want to add amisulpride to the Mirapex? Whats up with that? That doesnt sound very logical or smart to me. Amisulpride is an anti-psychotic. Mirapex is a dopamine agonist. I can see adding a dopamine agonist like Mirapex to an anti-psychotic to fight EPS. But frankly I cant see adding an anti-psychotic to a dopamine agonist for purposes of combatting depression.
Doesnt make any sense to me. What is your thinking there?
