Needless to say, reading about all this weight gain is scaring the hell out of me. I plan on speaking to my Dr. about this but am wondering, has anyone actually lost weight (or at least maintained their current weight) while taking Paxil?

I have been taking it for 2 years now, and even though my moods improved a little, I don't think it was worth it for me in the long run. I hate my body now and that creates more depression! I wish I would have known before!!!

I gained a lot of weight on Paxil as well. I gained about 20 lbs on it. Maybe you could switch to Wellbutrin? It might help you shed the weight you gained on Paxil. Just a thought.
