DITTO to everything you wrote here about the med. "Ambien".....had the same exact effects on me. I have tried it, in the course of alittle over a year 3 times; each time it had the same reaction...just like you wrote.
I am a "true" sufferor of insomnia, have been for years...I thought that Ambien (the new wonder drug for sleep) would help me...nope, no dice there. Temazepam has worked best for me, but I still wake up after about 5 hrs of VERY unrestful sleep....back to the drawing board.
