Glenn,

I DO tend to get psychotic at times, and if you look up Zyprexa it will tell you it's used as an anti-psychotic drug....but, just like Klonipin can treat anxiety-it also treats people like my husband, who have periodic limb movement! Get my meaning here, I hope?

Anyway...I take 2.5mg doses AM, Noon, and at Dinner time...at bedtime I take the 5mg dosage. I too saw an immediate effect when I was first put on the Zyprexa...but my dosage was SKY HIGH, and I was like the walking dead to be honest. Since my shrink and I have tweaked the dosage, I find it helps me STAY calm so that I don't 'head bang' when I become upset/infuriated. It still though makes me alittle tired during the day, but nothing I can't ride out.

As for it working with anti-depressants....OH YES! I asked my shrink about all of that...I take Effexor and Wellbutrin along with the Zyprexa and things are working (knock on wood) spledidly for me. No weight gain either, for me at least.

P.L.
