Actually, everything I've read says it increases the efficacy of most ADs. I was on Zyprexa with Effexor XR, and was the first time I slept in months. Over time it relieved a lot of the depression symptoms. However, the depression came back, but now the situation seems to be bi-polar instead of uni-polar, so Zyprexa wasn't to blame. But a lot of literature is very up on using zyprexa to treat depression
