Hi angell,
I was on effexor 225mg for 18 months or so. I had extreme anxiety at the time and assumed the pains in my stomach were due to that. Turns out it was the effexor giving me stomach ache every day. Constipation was real bad too.

Can't really remember if the A/D effect of effexor increased with time but unfortunately for me the side-effects did not subside.
