I have a wonderful pdoc. They are worth shopping for. Developing a relationship of trust takes time, but is worth it. In my opinion a good pdoc cares more about you than legal liability.

A good, caring, competent doctor works with you, and genuinely cares about your condition..To a good doctor you are not simply another face on the other side of the desk to throw meds at. A good doctor, in my opinion, never says "just take it, I am the doctor". A good, competent doctor, to help with your depression is NOT something that should be taken lightly...Depression is an illness that, if not treated properly, can lead to, at the worst, not-so-good circumstances.
