I have used Effexor for six years with lots of success. But I was glad to read your post. My concentration, such as it is, seems as good as ever but I do have memory lapses. I have been wondering if this is just another sign of getting older (48) or an Effexor side effect. Yesterday i drove by two gorgeous trees a mile or two from home whose leaves had turned a deep, late autumn red. I made a note to myself to show them to my wife and ask her what kind of trees they were. Later in the day I remembered to take her by the trees, but I could not remember where the hell they were.A friend refers to these episodes as "senior moments," but maybe, for me, they are "Effexor moments." I hope the effect is not cumulative.
