I wonder why Guaifen needs a prescription if it's a non-narcotic and doesn't interfere with most other meds? The only thing the pharmacist warned me about was taking it close to bedtime with the cough syrup because they both contain pseudoephedrine, but so does lots of other OTC stuff. What am I missing here?
