Going to bootleg Alka-Seltzer

I am going to some other country where they still manufacture Alka-Seltzer with PPA and bring home a whole crate of it. I've always used Alka-Seltzer for colds (or the occasional hangover)and Tavist D for sinuses with excellent results.
Now, neither medication does squat.
Suffering from headcold and very unhappy-
