> Dreamy - psychosis is characterized by a gross impairment in reality testing. The individual incorrectly evaluates the accuracy of his/her perceptions and thoughts and makes incorrect references about external reality, even in the face of contrary evidence (actually this sounds like the definition of a politician or those who act on the board of any professional licencing board ;^p). Psychosis is often characterized by regressive behavior (eg. withdrawing into oneself or "negative symptoms"), inappropriate mood (eg. mood incongruent behavior, such as laughing at a funeral), and diminished impulse control. Example of psychosis are what you have listed above (ie. auditory or visual hallucinations, delusions, etc.). - CamSounds similar to me still believing my boyfriend
loved me even though he moved to TX (from MN) with
out telling me!!!
VERY DELUSIONAL!
Thanks for the input!
Glad to have the right info!
