Hair loss, alopecia, is a side effect of MANY medications, some as simple as Tylenol. As far as AD meds go, I suspect you will find a smattering of this type of side effect affecting 1-3% of people taking them. If that is your concern, and there are no other connections causing your hair loss (e.g. hormonal changes due to menopause), you should look into switching to another AD med. You did not mention what you are taking. If you do so, I will provide you with data straight from the 2000 PDR (Physican's Desk Reference).
