Well on Effexor XR 75 mg, I had been on it for 2 1/2yrs, my doctor finally took me off of it last thursday, going through a withdrawal nightmare however. My dr. took me off of it because I'd gain about 40lbs since being on it, and now I'm having health problems because of my weight gain. I just wonder how long it's going to take before the weight comes off. I have no problem with working out and eating right, that's one of the reasons my dr. took me off, I worked out 4 times a week and I was eating right, but the weight would not come off, just refused to part with me...so all I can say is "you're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't"
