> So I really want to try moclobemide since it is supposed to work very differently than the usual AD's. So I hope at least like zyprexa it shouldn't make me Worse. Can this be a very reliable anti depressant? What are some of your experiences with this medication?

I tried Moclobemide 900mg for 3 or 4 months. It had pretty much no effect on my depression-nothing does-(or s. phobia, something it's occasionally touted for) tho' I may have had a couple of days of mild hypomania which is never a bad thing ;-)

Most pdocs here are fairly scathing towards Moclob.; it seems to be regarded as a 'weak' MAOI. However the relative lack of food restrictions means it seems to be prescribed more often than the traditional MAOIs.

On the positive side, like yourself ADs tend to worsen my condition, and Moclob. didn't seem to do this. It was remarkably side-effect free.

I guess you don't know if you don't try...

>Is it safe to take along with zyprexa?

Zyprexa has weak serotonin reuptake properties so I dunno. Someone else will tho'.
