Hi Elizabeth.Perhaps you can add the drugs in the same order stepwise while continuing desipramine, perhaps leaving it in place as a substitute for bupropion to start with. I don’t know if one can think of Cylert as being a substitute for, or analogous to, Provigil. I don’t think Provigil acts directly upon dopaminergic neurons. Instead, its activation of dopaminergic activity in various areas is probably secondary to an increase in extracellular glutamate upstream (thalamus?). You might want to take this into consideration when evaluating the effectiveness of a combination that uses a psychostimulant in its place.
