Generic Xanax

I take Alprazolam (Generic Xanax). I usually get it from a company called Geneva Pharmaceuticals. This past time the pharmacy filled it with another generic made by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and I took on of the pills and it seemed to have no effect. Is Mylan reliable or should I complain to my pharmacy? What are my rights?
