I don't remember where I read it, but I do seem to remember some literature about gallstone formations due to dietary changes while on WB. Maybe it was something Sal linked to. I think the therory was that rapid weight loss contributed to gallstone formation. I don't think it was the WB that caused the gallstones, but the significant weight loss most of us have. I started taking WB in 1999, weighed 195lbs. I was already eating a fairly Spartan diet, but consumed a few beers. When I quit drinking all together in July, 2000, I began to lose weight quickly. I am now down to 161 and still dropping. I'm actually getting tired of people asking me if I am sick or something, because darned if that doesn't make me start wondering.
