I have been taking Wellbutrin SR since June of 1999 and have lost 35 lbs at the higher doses (currently at 300mg/day). When my WB dose first was increased to the 300 level and higher, meat suddenly no longer appealed, so I stopped eating it about a year and a half ago. I suspect my vegetarian diet has caused some weight loss also.
Now I'm told I have gallstones and am having my gallbladder out next week. I guess the question will be moot once they take the thing out, but I keep wondering whether the WB or the appetite loss/diet changes caused by the WB could have caused the stones to form. Any opinions?
