In reply to is this the wellbutrin, or just a passing phase?, posted by terra miller on September 24, 2001, at 23:01:41
> here's the question: everyday in the afternoon this is what's been happening (i've taken 2 doses of wellbutrin by this time)... my vision physically and mentally begins to cloud; i begin to tire; my fuse shortens and irritability rises. this starts in the afternoon and progressively gets worse. i don't notice necessarily that evenings are as bad as the afternoons seem to be.

My mood crashes around 3-4pm. But it comes back to reasonable, if not great.
Try manipulating your meals...make sure you have a snack about that time, including both carbs and protien. That may at least help. :)> i know that if i take a xanax there's a good chance that this "afternoon thing" will go away, but i find that the wrong use for what i need to use it for and need to save it for panic attacks. i haven't taken one for a week to 10 days and haven't ever taken it regularly.
VERY smart girl!
That's a very responsible use of a med that could be habitforming!
