hi all. been taking wellbutrin i.r. 75mg 4x/day for months. very stable. (couldn't get suicidal if i wanted to... not to be blunt & practical, but it's a good feeling to have hit on the right drug.) as needed i take .5mg xanax and 15mg ambien.
here's the question: everyday in the afternoon this is what's been happening (i've taken 2 doses of wellbutrin by this time)... my vision physically and mentally begins to cloud; i begin to tire; my fuse shortens and irritability rises. this starts in the afternoon and progressively gets worse. i don't notice necessarily that evenings are as bad as the afternoons seem to be.
i typically dose at 8am, 12noon, 4pm, and 8pm.
i don't get what this is. it may be the wellbutrin. it could be the morning coffee (which i already make 1/2 strength since being on the well.) it could be just a phase in my therapy process.
i know that if i take a xanax there's a good chance that this "afternoon thing" will go away, but i find that the wrong use for what i need to use it for and need to save it for panic attacks. i haven't taken one for a week to 10 days and haven't ever taken it regularly.
any clues?
thanks. ~terra.
