There is speculation that a "kindling" effect occurs with antidepressant usage in unipolars, as it does with bipolars--thus making the restart of medications less efficacious. Plus, some believe that SSRI's cause the depletion of dopamine. So this may be what you're experiencing. If Paxil doesn't work now, I highly doubt that Zyprexa and Ritalin will "jump-start" it. Despite what people say on this group, Zyprexa is not an antidepressant and does not have even half of the serotonergic power of 50 mg of Zoloft. I believe that many people will be disappointed in Zyprexa as an antidepressant. Sorry JohnL.
Try another antidepressant. There must be about 50 of them on the market today. I'm on moclobemide.
