Hi Firebabe,
You mentioned not taking Zyprexa due to addiction. I thought I would let you know that Zyprexa is not an addictive drug. Though it is officially called an antipsychotic, it happens to work very well for a whole array of psychiatric symptoms. It is non addicting and non abusive and has minimal side effects generally.

I have taken less than 15mg of Remeron. I was on 7.5mg for over a year. I have also tried tiny chunks as small as 2.5mg or 5mg. It seemed to me the smaller the chunk the stronger the sedation. However, the hangover effect was always there regardless of dose size. Luckily it went away with the first coffee of the morning.

By the way, congratulations on the 14+ years. That is awesome!
John

> John, thank you so much for replying to my post. As far as Zyprexa, i cant take it since i am a recovering drug addict (14 years clean) i dont want to take a chance on getting addicted again. My doc said the same thing you did, that the smaller the dose, the stronger the Remeron is. Have you ever taken anything less than 15mg of the Remeron, and if so, did it have less of a hangover effect in the morning?
