I went from 195 to 163 in 18 months, yet still press same amount of weights. Very low body-fat index. Nice and lean. At almost 42, I am in the best physical shape of my life. What this means for you? Hard to say. But do us all a favor and leave the street drugs to those with a death wish.

As far as GHB... first, let me assure you that I'm not a 'street drug' kind of guy. I was taking lactone which converts to GHB in the body - it was from an industrial supplier. Very pure.
I took it because I was desperate at the time, and I'd read about its antidepressant properties. I tried it, and it was wonderful. The only problem ( at first) was that it made me euphoric for a few hours after taking it. I was after an antidepressant, not a high. I couldn't function until the next day, so I ended up taking it at night before bed. I gradually developed incredible insomnia to the point where I was only sleeping 2 hours a night - dopamine makes me speedy. I felt great, my SAD was almost entirely gone, but my body was hurting from lack of sleep.
I quit for those reasons, and the fact that the legal consequences were so dire. I had a few bottles of this stuff, and if I was busted, I might have done time for being classified as a 'dealer'.
GHB is easily abused. It can be lethal if mixed with alcohol, and if not used carefully it can cause real damage or death by itself. It's not something to play with; neither is it something to fear. I have no sympathy for people who want access to a drug to get high; I have nothing but sympathy and compassion for those who can be helped by the same drugs but are prevented from getting them because of a bureaucrat's decree.
In the end, what is the difference between a 'street drug' and a medicine? Motive.
