I don't see a lot of difference between any of them. I believe that the lack of *spontaneous* perceptual experiences is the main culprit. If you are running your own farm to feed your own family you are going to get lots of *spontaneous stuff* on a daily basis. This is opposed to the situations most workers are commonly exposed to in today's workplace environment. Most people nowadays are exposed to the same old crap over and over in a detaily inhuman fashion which I believe is fundamentally unhealthy. That is WHY depression is so common nowadays. It is the programming and repetitiousness (that is of course-most *efficient*) that smothers the human soul. The urban/rural "breakpoint" occured during the 1930's where more people lived in cities than in rural areas for the first time in history. Interestingly, this is where most of our modern psychopathology sprang from. Perhaps there is a "need" to be connected to the natural world outside of ourselves, and when that need gets thrwarted we see the pathological results.
