Prozac - does it help for Panic/Anxiety

I was wondering if Prozac helps with Panic and anxiety, besides depression? I am very med sensitive , so what would be the best way to start out.
For those who also tried Paxil, does Prozac make you more nervous than Paxil and what other side effects did you experience? I am a bit scared; but I am currently on Paxil among other meds and the Paxil doesn't seem to work anymore.
Any replies are much appreciated.
