Ben,
Been on Adderall before, but not Ritalin. From what I understand the blood levels with Ritalin are so short-lived you need very frequent doses. Even the Concerta (extended release) can be troublesome from what I read here. Adderall flattened out my mood swings and I think you ought to try it instead of Ritalin. Or you can try just plain dexedrine Spansules (which are time-release).
