> I've had success with Wellbutrin for depression for 6 months. It has also had some (very little) affect on ADHD. I've had very good success with Adderall with ADHD for 3 months. I've read that Adderall has AD qualities as well. I still battle a short fuse (not near as much) - Currently taking 150mgx2 Wellbutrin and 20mgx3 Adderall. Anybody think the combo might contribute to a short temper? Any thoughts appreciated! Thanks in advance.
MissyM,
Well certainly it could-also either one of those meds by itself could make one grouchy. You mentioned that you were on Wellbutrin FIRST for the last 6 months, right?? THEN, the Adderall got *added*, correct??
You said you "still battle" with a short fuse. So that sounds like you have had a "short fuse" before any of these meds, correct? But, you said "not near as much", so *something* helped with the irritability?
The question is...did the irritabilty increase or decrease when the Adderall got *added*?? If it got better..then it would seem that WB possibly could be either aggravating your grouchiness OR it just isn't helping and possibly the Adderall by itself would be sufficient for both your ADHD and depression.
