I think its around 200 - 400. I've also seen accounts here of people getting an effect at as little as 50. Remember using it this way is fairly new. One place you can look up the studies that have already been done is on Medline. If you haven't already discovered this it's great. It contains abstracts of all articles published in med journals and is easily searchable. Just try entering lamotrigine and bipolar or lamotrigine and depression. Be careful. It's addictive.
