Hi Tina,
I almost believe that the anxiety is the 'residue' from panic attacks....... the left-over after-effects so to speak.I was on a low-dose of ZOLOFT for PANIC/ANXIETY attacks...... they had minimal side-effects..... which lasted under two weeks.....slight nausea.........for me anyway.........
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT .....PDOC .......stands for !!!
Self-talk is the NEXT STEP !...... have you had treatment with a CLINICAL PYSCHOLOGIST ....they specialise in COGNITIVE THERAPY..... re-train your way of thinking and behaving......and teach you the CORRECT WAY to BREATHE........believe it or not.......learning breathing techniques can get rid of feelings of anxiety.......I actually believe that you are quite lucky to be at this stage...... sort of past the PANIC stage......so hang in there..........they don't prescribe medication.....but may suggest seeing a doctor if they feel it's necessary........
THIS IS NOT DANGEROUS
I HAVE FELT LIKE THIS BEFORE
IT WILL PASS
I AM NOT DYING
I AM NOT HAVING A HEART ATTACK
THIS WILL PASSIt's this breaking up the CYCLE of OBSESSIVE thinking that can get rid of the sick feeling in your stomach.......like going into an the most important exam in your life and knowing that you haven't studied for it !!!
