I've got to side with the others, here. Don't drink. But I wouldn't say NEVER.
You do need to keep in mind that a lot of people here take klonopin to sleep. What does that tell you??
If you're on meds and you refuse to quit drinking completely:
Take a few weeks off from drinking, with the new med. Get meds settled in, get used to their regular side effects BEFORE you try adding alcohol. So anyway, start by taking a few weeks to adjust to meds. You probably shouldn't be driving, if there's any other options! THEN, try one beer at home. NOT "out", where if it has a bad effect you're stuck trying to get home or getting into trouble. Pay attention to your body's reaction, how do you feel, how do you feel the next day, etc. Then try maybe 2 drinks. Again, pay attention...Play it slow, get used to it, before you try going out and imbibing like you may have before.
Luck...
