Will effexor induce cycling or hypomania or mixed states in bipolars that you know of. Zoloft is causing cycling and mixed states. Without it however I am anxious. Also if you can think of an adjunct to Lithium that does not affect cognition. Can't be neurontin. Also tried Lamictal which worked well but gave me a rash (non lethal type).

I would truly appreciate your input.

TAKE YOUR ENTIRE DOSE OF XR AT BEDTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not started taking it yet and was wandering how the side effects differ, is it likely that I will have side effects from effexor as with the zoloft/celexa, has anyone been swithched from an SSRI to an SNRI.
