I am trying to plan what to do at home so as not to just sit around and cry all day. I do plan to walk outdoors, make a list of chores for myself. Anybody have any input on this? I'm only talking short term disability (hopefully!) til I can find a new mix of meds that work.

Hi Carolyn,

I don't know about your personal interests, but screen-printing had done wonders for me: it kept me busy enough to feel peaceful; sometimes it actually cheered me up. Batik tecnique (painting on clothes and fabrics) is pretty interesting/involving also.
I used (and i still do, when i've got time) to screen-print on T-shirts: i eventually sold some of them : it was really gratifying and pleasant.
