> You are obviously already doing some research on you illness, but you have the opportunity to do a lot more. Message boards are great. Every once in awhile you can find knowledgeable, kind people in chat rooms, too. You could also join a book club. If you have a garden, planting and tending plants is therapeutic. Good luck!
>Thanks, Cass. I do like to read...and can do that as long as the book is really engrossing. My leave started today. I also help to feed a patient at a nursing home twice a week at lunchtime and plan to continue doing that, even though it involved driving 25 miles (I do lunch near where I work). Anyway, I'm sure this was the right decision, as I feel better already with the pressure of work off. I also saw a new doctor, mine being on vacation, and I liked her a lot...maybe I'll switch permanently, but must consider this carefully as I have had the same doctor for 11 years and he is very good. I just felt more comfortable talking with a woman. She also took me off Prozac and started Wellbutrin, which I am now taking in combination with Luvox andKlonipin. I feel much more hopeful today!
