Remeron

I have extreme nighttime anxiety/insomnia. My doctor
is talking about Remeron. I have tried everything
else in the psychopharm universe and this seems to be
a last resort. The Neurontin was a weird, horrible
experience.

I have read that Remeron is only effective for about
1 month? Is this true? What's everybody's experience?
