The Paxil discontinuation syndrome can be annoying, so it is recommended to wean off of it for at least 2 weeks. http://www.dr-bob.org/tips/split/Antidepressant-discontinua.html

I recently went on Zoloft a week ago, after having tried every medication known to mankind for depression. I started on 200 mg as my first dose, and it has been really good. It destroyed my appetite (good for weight loss), and I haven't had any other side-effects.
