I could never tolerate more than 50 mg.. apparently and for what reason I don't pretend to know trazodone is associated with the Lowest suicide rates of all antidepressants. It blocks the 5HT2 receptor which may be one serotonin receptor you don't want to stimulate and may be responsible for some of the side effects associated with SSRI's. Personally I never cared much for it, but it is definately anti-anxiety and good for sleep and currently the drug of choice for fibromyalgia. Just keep in mind Everyone is different.. for instance Zoloft Constipates me and Prozac makes me gain weight.

Good Luck
