zoloft and ephedra

I have beentaking zoloft (50 mg) for several months, and have gained some weight during that time, although I wouldn't attribute this gain to the drug. I started taking a diet pill with ephedra in it (but no caffeine) about a week ago. On the back of the bottle it says not to take the pills if you are on MAOI's or "similar antidepressants." Does anyone know if zoloft is dangerous to take with the ephedra- containing diet pill? I know zoloft is not an MAOI, but still, I am somewhat worried because I have heard horror stories about ephedra. Please help if you can! Thanks!
