Shy people become more outgoing. Though I like Adrafinil, I think it works best when tried in combination with either Prozac, Amisulpride, or both.

If I had to make a list of my all time favorites, Adrafinil would be up there on the list. If I made a list of my all time worst duds, Modafinil would be there. I have a real hard time believing that Modafinil is the metabolite of Adrafinil. I don't think it is as simple as that. All I know for sure is Modafinil was lousy for me.

I've been on Adrafinil for about seven weeks and have experienced little or no positive effects on my mood, social behavior or cognitive abilities. I was so hopeful that this drug could do much to help my mood and motivation. On John L's suggestion, I'm going to try to supplement my 300mg/day Adrafinil dosage with Prozac. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To date, the only drug that has helped my mood significantly was Nardil, albeit short lived. Please don't let my negative experience discourage anyone from giving Adrafinil a try. Clearly, this drug has helped others.
