michael,

i have recently switched from the sustained release version of wellbutrin to the immediate release version. for me chemically that felt like similar, but still different meds. i was having trouble on the sustained releave version with my body temperature dropping, and i seemed to burn through the pills faster and then after taking my dose as recommended i was left feeling like i had to hold out until i could start my next day of doses.

i am at this point taking three pills a day instead of two, i feel more chemically balanced, and my side-effects are coming under control.

i don't understand it, but i know that for me and my chemistry that the sustained release was not as effective than the immediate release. who knows why? somebody here probably knows. i just know i'm finally headed in the right direction chemically.

hope that helps. terra.
