If you've only been on two ADs over the last 10 years, I would ask your pdoc why Remeron is the last chance. There are a lot of different ADs out there -- Effexor, Wellbutrin, Celexa, as well as the older ones. If Remeron is only the third, I don't think your pdoc is trying hard enough.
I was on Remeron for more than two years and it helped me. Unlike you, I have insomnia and welcomed the sleep at night. However the AD effect was not enough.
