Is it true-no addiction w/ slow release stimulants

Posted by PhoenixGirl on January 19, 2001, at 0:36:51

I have read in various places that when stimulants are used AS DIRECTED and not abused, and the drug is in slow-release form, then addiction will not occur. Is this true? Other sources say that stimulants are addictive no matter what. I'm considering taking stimulants like Ritalin, Adderall, Provigil, dextroamphetamine, and would like some clarification.
