> I am on my second week of buspar, and the side effects are anything but fun. For about 2 hours after I take it I am all tingles and shakes and, well, anxious! I am willing to tough it out if the thing will work, but I wonder if anyone has any comments about how long these side effects will continue.

> -------------------------------------------------------Hi.
Perhaps you can remain on Klonopin and use Xanax and propanalol for acute anxiety episodes and panic attacks respectively. It doesn't seem that Buspar is treating you too well. I am not sure if your "startup" anxiety indicates eventual nonresponse or whether this is something that often happens early on, but that might still result in a good response later on. From what I have read of other people's experiences, your startup anxiety is not a good sign that Buspar is the right drug for you.
I am no expert and have no personal experience with Buspar. Wait for other people to comment before doing anything.
Good luck.
