Dear JahL,
After I was adjusted to it it made me feel pretty good in seemingly a high way but I went off it. I really missed how good it made me feel. Since I'm on this other drug now I've felt like taking a risperdal with it. I know someone who is prescribed it that way (2 neuroleptics). I take such low doses of all meds. that it could help. I'm starting to feel like a pill factory!I think it took about 3 weeks for the full effects to work for me but I immediately felt better upon taking it. I always had a good feeling with it or a high feeling. Not to the point of drunkeness, though. I think I felt really good in the same way with celexa and effexor at first, too. But that stopped, yet with risperdal I always felt sort of high. I liked that effect, too.
I've piled on a few too but that's okay, I believe.
take good care,
r.anne

My psychia. won't prescribe zyprexa for me because I'm already 50# overweight and he said everyone gains a lot of weight from it. Do you find that to be true for you?
