Hello,
I do not think piracetam will give similar effects to Adrafinil.
I never read Piracetam affected adrenergic receptors as Adrafinil does.
Although, pramiracetam (the strongest racetam) is very stimulating for some people -it seems. Drawback: too expensive.
Vinpocetine has an effect on the reticular system and some people report a vigilance increase.
Hydergine does affect neurotransmitter receptors (the three mayor, at least that reads in the packet insert) and has an alpha adrenergic blocking action (for which I think it is different to Adrafinil). For the last property it was used for hypertension.
The good side of these drugs is the very low toxicity.
> In literature there are no reported interactions of Piracetam with other drugs. To be on the safe side, as with any medication or herb, starting with low doses and going slow is wise I think.

Another one that looks interesting is Hydergine. I should try these myself so I'll have real life experience to comment on. I've read a lot about them, but haven't tried them. I've been looking at Piracetam or Hydergine for purposes of treating tinnitus, but as of yet haven't done anything.
