Fainting is dangerous. You often lose consciousness so fast, that you don't have time enough to react to the fall by bracing yourself. The body immediately goes limp. I once fainted while taking Nardil + desipramine + Depakote. I was standing over a sink looking in the mirror as I washed my hands. The next thing I knew, I was on the floor with a huge bruise around the orbit of my right eye. It had hit the corner of the sink on the way down. It was months before people stopped asking me who I got into a fight with.
