This definitely bears further examination. I know a kid who did black out in the shower during a bought of the flu, and he ended up in the hospital for several days. It seems to me that if this is meds related, this is very much in the purview of your pdoc, who is, afterall, a medical doctor. If he refers you to the internist, hopefully that will only be after carefully discounting your meds regimen as an explanation. At that point you can go to her with his recommendation, and she might be a tad more receptive. Please get this checked out. ksvt


I have to admit, when I think of calling my intenist about it, I don't really want to because I think she thinks of me as "the depressed hypochondriacal one". Know what I mean?
