In reply to feeling hopeless...what now?, posted by MicheleR on October 17, 2000, at 19:06:15
> In the past few years I think I have been put on about every anti-depressant out there....except MAO's. I responded real well to prozac for a couple of years, then my doc added Any recommendations on what to try now?
>Try being more tolerant with yourself and give yourself moretime.
or what to ask my doctor for?
DExedrine SR 5mg or ritalin, but make sure you're well supervised if u take these.
I dont want to feel this way...and I dont want to head down this road again.
It's like a flu, it will pass, whether it's treated or not.
I know I have posted this before...but my current daily meds and dosages are: prozac 80mg, effexor 75mg, dexedrine 10mg, ambien 10mg, valium 20mg. Any ideas on medication changes that I can suggest to my doc would be appreciated. Or should I just "deal" with it and not expect for meds to make that much of a difference?
Meds only do so much. much of your recover depends on yourself.
sorry, I am just confused, dont like the way I am feeling, and wondering if anyone has any ideas? I want things to work and not to be given up on.

No one will give up on you and u don't need to apologize anymore than you would have to if u had the flu.> Thanks for listening to me ramble and for any help you can provide.
Feel free to vent as much as you please or need to. Lord knows I do.
